Winter can be a nightmare when it comes to your skin. The cold air can make your skin dry, flaky, and can even be painful. As someone who already has naturally dry skin, I have to take extra care to make sure that my skin stays nice and hydrated during the colder months. Here are my favorite products for maintaining healthy, glowing skin all winter long.
An exfoliator is a must have when it comes to fighting off dry skin. This product from Boscia is both a physical and chemical exfoliant. It gets rid of dead skin while also giving a deep, in-depth exfoliation that leaves you with smooth, new skin.
Adding a hydrating oil to your nighttime routine will be a game changer. It provides your skin with a moisture boost and leaves you with radiant, hydrated skin by morning. It’s something that’s really simple, and really effective.
Belif has created a moisturizer that is lightweight, oil-free and provides a +70% hydration level to your skin. It also neutralizes free-radicals, minimizes pores, and even skin tone. And, well… it’s pretty bomb.
Sometimes it’s good to get some extra hydration, and my favorite way is with Honey Potion from Farmacy. It’s a warming, hydrating face mask that provides your skin with antioxidants, amino acids and a lot of moisture. I will use this mask 2-3 times a week, depending on the condition of my skin.
I used to be a chapstick junkie. I’d have five or six tubes rolling around in any given purse because my lips were always chapped and nothing ever seemed to give me any relief. That is no longer the case. I use Lip Sleeping Mask every night and wake up with plump, hydrated lips. Not only do I wake up with moisturized lips, but they stay that way all day with minimal chapstick application needed. This product has been a lifesaver.
I always like to keep a hydrating mist with me during the day, just in case I start to feel a little dry. A light spritz of Caudalie’s Grape Water provides +127% hydration boost, giving an immediate reprieve to the cold, dry weather. Plus, it can also act as a refresher for your makeup, so it’s definitely a double duty product.
